Prior to Glean, Arvind co-founded and led R D at Rubrik, a publicly traded leader in the data security space. Arvind also spent over a decade at Google as a distinguished engineer, where he led teams in Google’s Search, Maps, and YouTube products. Prior, Arvind held a leadership position at Akamai and started his career at Microsoft. He earned his BTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and his Masters in Computer Science from the University of Washington. For more than 20 years, he has loved to build products with fast and smooth user interfaces for devices of every size. During a decade at Google, he helped modernize the web search results page from the static “ten blue links” days into the JavaScript era. Later he founded and led the Chrome Speed Team where he and his team contributed to the HTML5 specification, helped form the W3C Web Performance Working Group and ensured Chrome established itself as the fastest browser. Tony received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Saint Louis University. Away from the LCD glow he’s on a quest to photograph every bird species in the world.
